The executive committee is comprised of the 3 Co-Founders of the China-Britain Youth Association:
Harry Queenborough: Harry is a strategy consultant with a passion for China. Harry has spent 1 ½ years between Hong Kong, Beijing and Nanjing working as an intern with a leading Chinese investment bank and a student of Mandarin Chinese at TsinghuaUniversity . Harry was awarded a first class with honours in Politics and International Relations specialising in modern China.
Phil Entwistle: Phil is studying for a DPhil in Politics at Merton College, Oxford University. He has been hooked on China since spending a year teaching English in deepest Henan in 2004-5. His time is now taken up with travelling between Oxford and Beijing, analysing the latest research on China, and memorising endless Hanzi. He is married to the lovely Aiman.
Adam Tyndall: Adam knows the value of youth dialogue programmes having been captivated by China on a British Council trip in 2008. Since that first trip, he has returned to teach English language summer schools, travel the Silk Road and represent the UK at the EU-China Year of Youth Opening Summit. He is currently studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University and recently Co-Coordinated the UK’s largest student-run international development conference.
The team behind the China Britain Youth Dialogue come from both countries and a range of backgrounds. Most of the team are based in either London, Beijing or Oxford. The team is extremely varied encompassing academics, lawyers, journalists and management consultants.
